A history talk by Tony McAleavy.

Stumpe made a huge amount of money manufacturing woollen cloth in the time of Henry VIII and over time the family fortune was used to build Abbey House and Charlton Park and to finance advantageous high society marriages . Stumpe's direct descendants include both Winston Churchill and King Charles III.
